Fingertrick – Thin Ice (SINGLE REVIEW)

From their 2018 release “If Requiems Were Record Deals”, Fingertrick’s single “Thin Ice” is an exceptional stand-out track within the album. The song opens with soothing guitar sounds that are brilliantly orchestrated by the band’s guitarist Chris Pietrangelo. He further demonstrates his musical prowess with his easy to listen to vocals. Perhaps one of the most compelling elements of the song lies in it’s lyrical content. The song writing is nothing short of genius and gives a powerful message. Not only that, but the chorus is SO catchy. The musicianship of the entire band is also evident within this track. The drum work of Alessia┬áMauro shines throughout the single with clean hits and transitions. The part that really ties everything together can be found at the heart of the rhythm section with the rock solid bass lines of┬áPatrick Pietrbngelo. It is very obvious that this band possesses extraordinary talent. This project truly reflects this and I look forward to seeing what this group has in store for the future.
